XTC85 and XTC85HP E85 Conversion Kits were designed to withstand the abuse of harsh application environmental conditions and rough handling. For Military, Federal and Police applications, this new Scorrect durable adhesive is critical to long-term performance of the XTC85 and XTC85HP.
This kit can also be used as a replacement for our now discontinued White Lightning e85 conversion Kit. Xpertech Inc. Xpertech Inc. created a policy that allows all previously sold digital circuit boards to be replaced for free with the new SMT circuit board. Yes this is true and any other private label circuit board sold through or distributors will also be replaced with this new SMT conversion kit. Free of charge. We will refurbish all previous units (trade-in's) and resell them at a discounted price.
Xpertech Inc. unveils the latest additions to its XTC series of fully encapsulated commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) 4-35W DC/DC converters, the XTC85 and XTC85HP. Suitable for military and avionic platforms with an optional 28VDC input, the new 15W and 30W units are available with either ±12VDC or ±15VDC outputs.

Offering a wide input range from +15.5 to +40VDC, the units can accommodate 10VDC transients for 10sec and up to 50VDC for 1sec as stipulated by MIL-STD 704B-F. The e85 converter feedback loop constantly monitors both inputs and outputs in order to provide a high degree of load regulation.

SMT DESIGN
SMT is Surface Mount Technology and has been used for many circuit board designs.
The new SMT circuit board converters also meet MIL-STD 1275A/B/C/D and MIL-STD 704A standards for surges and transients, when used in conjunction with the MTF50 filter module. When this filter is installed, these kits converters also meet MIL-STD 461E/F for conducted emissions and susceptibility. The units meet the environmental MIL-STD 810F specification that covers shock, vibration, humidity, temperature, salt spray and altitude.
Case operating temperature range is from -40 to + 100°C.
Control lines provide the ability to inhibit the output and to synchronise the switching frequency.
Designed specifically for military and avionics applications, the new XTC series uses COTS components to offer significant cost savings and reduce time-to-market compared to using traditionally developed military power supplies.
